Tamil Actor Vivekh Passes Away: Sivaji Co-Star Rajinikanth, Prakash Raj, AR Rahman Pen Heartfelt Tributes
Much to everyone’s dismay, today, Tamil actor Vivekh passed away after suffering a massive heart attack. The actor was hospitalised yesterday and was on ECMO (Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation) support; however, he breathed his last at 4:35 AM today in the private hospital. After his tragic demise news broke out in the media, his Sivaji co-star Rajinikanth, Prakash Raj, AR Rahman and more are heartbroken and penned heartfelt tributes for the late actor.

Rajinikanth took to his Twitter handle and released an official statement reading, “The demise of an iconic artist, social worker, and close friend of mine, Vivek, is heartbreaking. Every day I played with him in 'Sivaji' was an unforgettable day in my life. My deepest condolences to his family. May the soul of Vivek attain peace” while the music maestro AR Rahman took to his Twitter handle and said that his legacy will stay with them, “@Actor_Vivek can’t believe you’ve left us ..May you rest in peace ..you’ve entertained us for decades ..your legacy will stay with us”. 

Whereas Singham actor Prakash Raj mourned his death as he wrote, “Ahhh.. #vivek ...gone too soon dear friend ..thank you for planting thoughts n trees ...thank you for entertaining and empowering us with your wit and humour..will miss you…RIP” Even Baahubali actor Sathyaraj who played Kattappa shared a video message where he expressed his grief.
